Happy New Year!

So we are going to try to keep this up-to-date. A New Year's resolution. A.J. is growing up so quickly and doing so many funny things that I can't resist documenting it some how!

A.J. says his prayers at night. It usually was Matt who would say them and we would give hugs and kisses goodnight. Well, since A.J. has decided to start saying prayers at dinner, he thinks everyone should have a turn at saying the blessing. He also thinks that he should have a turn at bedtime now. He asked the other night to have A.J.'s turn with Jesus, I didn't object and asked him who he wanted to pray for. He said animals and colors. His prayer went as follows, "Jesus thank for this food and animals and colors. Amen." I'm going to try to get a family tree posted in his bedroom beside his bed so that he can start praying for our family members each night. He doesn't have to pray for them all, but those he chooses.

A.J. went on his first trip to the cabin with his daddy. He had a great time and has come home relying on his daddy a lot. He wants him to play with him in everything he does. I had to stay home because of baby and not knowing when he's going to get here. I also had to study for my calculus exam that I hope to pass in a few days. Anyway, that's the lastest on Mr. A.J.

Post-Party

I had a wonderful time at my birthday party. Many of my friends and family showed up to celebrate. I got lots of toys, books, money, and clothes. Mama and Dada worked really hard to make sure that everyone was full of food and drinks. I made sure I kept my Mama in sight. I ate my cupcake and made a big mess. I also played with my new toys with my friends. It was a great time. Today, I had to recoup because it was an eventful day yesterday. I hope to see all of my friends very soon. I've been giving everyone high fives and talking a whole bunch (baby verbage). I am growing up quicker than everyone could imagine. Thank you to everyone who came out to spend my special day with my family and I.

Happy Birthday to ME!

Good morning everyone! Today's my 1st birthday. Momma and dada have been busy all week preparing for this special day. The theme of my party is Curious George. There are going to be lots of people in attendance. We are first going to church and they are going to have a baby dedication for me. Then we are going to stroll over to my house to party with a cookout. I have posted some pictures of some things I have done this summer. I went to a Cincinnati Reds game, Cincinnati Zoo, and Nashville since we've last talked. I will post some pictures later of my party.

Don't Hassle Me, I'm on Vacation

Hello once again. Sorry I haven't been on lately, I have been too busy learning. Lately I have learned how to crawl on my hands and knees, and now I can sit up on my own. I say "Dadadadada" all day long, and sometimes I say "Nanananana" (I can really say Mama, but I don't want her to know that yet.) But this week I'm putting the learning aside, and I am on Vacation.

We left yesterday to go to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. I slept most of the way, and when we got here, I got to meet my cousin Josh, and my Aunt Sue and Sandi. I slid down a slide at their house and had a blast (As you can see, I love slides.) Then we went to the beach late at night, just to see where it was, and I couldn't see much, but I loved it.

Today was an easy day, we got up, hung out at the house, I chased the dogs around, and then we went swimming in the pool in our community. After that, we went mini-golfing and finally wrapped the day up at the beach. (you can see pics of me at the beach to the left, it was around 70 degrees but Mom wrapped me up just to be safe.) I'll try to check in with everyone when Mom and Dad aren't looking. Love you all.
